"Kenya just not, right now?"

Films: Revolt (2017)

Alias: None

Type: Alien

Location: Civilized Area

Height/Weight: Ranges from that of small cars to that of a skyscraper.

Affiliation: Evil

Summary: Aliens will inevitably run out of major cities to destroy when the invasion goes without a hitch. Except not really. It isn't boredom for them until every last human is wiped out completely. And no city, no matter how recognizable it may be, is too small for taking over.

History: After biomechanical aliens take over most of the world, they set their sights on Nairobi, Kenya in the hopes of wiping out any and all human resistance. However, it would seem that one of their strategies is prepared to throw a wrench in the works. They had implanted a beacon in a random soldier so that he would lead them to the humans. But at the same time, he is unaware of this, he has amnesia, and the tech has given him special electrical powers. Soon, the aliens will realize that giving this man such abilities was the worst thing they could do. Not to say any human is still safe, though.

Notable Kills: Nothing special.

Final Fate: After the soldier gets caught up in a zany resistance scheme, he ends up using his powers to activate an EMP bomb close enough to the mothership to blow it up and deactivate the aliens. He gets his memories back in the process, but also loses his powers seemingly. Either way, mankind survives.

Powers/Abilities: The aliens' main weapons are guns that fire energy blasts capable of disintegrating anything.

Weakness: Heavy artillery. Also, if the mothership is downed, they all go down with it.

Scariness Factor: 4-Aside from looking like Bayformers at times, these aliens truly had humanity on the ropes. Their designs look like they came out of a metal sculpture's nightmare, their artillery is leagues above our own, and they just about had the whole world at their mercy before that beacon-involving lapse in judgement. Then again, one has to wonder what would happen if someone tripped the more bipedal ones with some rope. It would be hilarious, would it not?

Trivia: -This film was originally titled "Prisoner of War", and filming in Kenya turned out to be impossible. So, they mostly did it around Johannesburg, as well as some abandoned gold mines.

-Originally, Alex Russel was going to be the main soldier before he was recast with Lee "Ronan the Accuser" Pace.

"Same calculations every day, I know."
District 9 was considerably tamer than District Wherever.
